Em Samolewicz, 30, was cycling north on Third Avenue in Sunset Park, when she was struck and killed by the driver of a commercial tractor trailer heading in the same direction around 9 a.m., according to the police department. A construction worker was seriously injured after falling through the ceiling of a building in Brooklyn. Citizen App video shows firefighters arriving at 16th Avenue in Bensonhurst just before 9 a.m. after getting a call about a partial roof collapse. A Bronx recycling center worker was killed in a freak accident Saturday, police said.
